TOEP and TOSSS Qualifiers for AY 2009-2010

The following elementary and high school Qualifiers are requested to report for written examinations on January 22, 2010 at 8:30am at Monfort Hall, Department of Education Building, Division of Iloilo, Lapaz, Iloilo City.

Please bring your school ID, blue ballpens, snacks; and other requirements which could be individually asked. Calculators are not allowed.

Note: Schools whose nominees were not included in the Qualifiers’ list can call or text 09187973041 or 09194980077. Schools whose nominees were disqualified based on pre-defined rules were properly notified.

TOEP and TOSSS Awarding Ceremony 2008-2009

An impressive entrance under the ceremonial swords of the Iloilo Central Commercial High School CAT Corps. The processional was led by the OSCI Chair, followed by the OSCI founding members, past awardees, the 2009 awardees and the guest speaker.


Maphette Dianne Lustre, MOEP 2008 led the opening prayers. The ICCHS students led the singing of the Pambansang Awit.

Dr. Diadem Pearl Equina, acted as anchor. Henry Caspe, OSCI Chair, opened the awarding ceremony.

DepEd officials were on-hand to give support.


The Cabatuan Central Elementary School pupils presented intermission numbers.


Queeny Lyn Umadhay, TOSSS 2008 and Jo Jan Paul Penol, MOSSS 2008 acted as emcees. Stephen John Palomaria, TOSSS 2008 introduced the guest speaker.

The guest speaker was Mr. Ruel Romarate, TOSSS 1975, and VP/Head of Landbank of the Philippines, Region VII.


Dr. Japhet de Leon, TOSSS 1975, and Engr. Dimpna Castigador, TOEP 1975, read out the plaques to the awardees. Miss Evelyn Valiente and Mrs. Lynn Madera-Bautista read the citations to the schools and the coaches of the awardees.
